Welcoming New Year's Eve, TMII Presents 12 Days of Music Concerts

Welcoming the New Year 2024, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is presenting music concerts for 12 consecutive days with different artists, starting from December 20, 2023 to January 2, 2024.

We're targeting for 12 days, visitors to reach 300,000

TMII Operation Director, Arief Prasetyo said with the theme OneThereLand, TMII offered a unique and interesting concept for 12 days. Every day, there are music concerts from dozens of Indonesian musicians, podcasts, and stand-up comedy.

Some of the events that will be presented are OKAAY on December 23, Aruma on December 24, GJLS on December 25, Aldi Taher on December 25, Dikta on December 27, Indies on December 28, and so on.

"For culinary lovers, the Jakarta Crunchy Area specifically serves all kinds of baking or pastry products. Starting from those that are currently viral to the most legendary in Jakarta. In the beverages section, in the CRUNCHY AREA, you can find various types of drinks from coffee shops' role models in Jakarta to contemporary drinks," he expressed, Friday (12/22).

Aside that, there is the Market Land scene which consists of a fashion show, 100 MSME exhibition, a playground, and a stand-up comedy. There are also regional music and dance performances, as well as shadow puppets as an effort to preserve traditional arts, which are performed until 4 AM.

TMII also presented the Dancing Fountain Tirta Stories performance. That is a harmonized combination of multimedia shows with water screens and fountains, as well as lighting from 300 drones, which were previously routinely displayed every day starting at 6.30 PM, now added until 8 PM. Special year night until 10.30 PM.

Visitors can also enjoy various other recreational activities, including visits to the bird park, reptile park, cable car rides, or a relaxing picnic with the family in the many green open areas available.

"To create a sense of security for tourists, we are alerting 100 joint personnel from the army (TNI), police, Satpol PP assisted by TMII's security officers," he explained.

Especially for New Year's Eve, entrance tickets to TMII are Rp 50,000 per person. However, after that, the ticket returned to its normal Rp 25,000 per person. Meanwhile, there is no increase in tickets for vehicles.

"We're targeting for 12 days, visitors to reach 300,000, with an estimated daily visitor volume of around 20,000-25,000 people. Even on New Year's Eve, it is predicted that there will be 45,000 to 50,000 visitors," he concluded.
