Christmas Holidays, TMII Visitors Boom

W e have a lot of interesting entertainment, like dances, music concerts, cable cars, dancing fountains, etc

Dozens of people have flocked to the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta.

It was recorded from 5 AM to 2.30 PM which reached 16,500 people on Monday (12/25). Predictably, the number will continue to increase considering TMII operational hours extended to 10 AM to 8 PM on normal days.

Thousands of Tourists Flock to Monas Area

TMII Public Relations Sector Head, Novera Mayang expressed that there were many pieces of entertainment presented to be a magnet for visitors. There were also many alternatives for access to TMII through city transportation, Transjakarta buses, Light Rail Transit (LRT), and private vehicles.

"To attract more visitors, we have a lot of interesting entertainment, like dances, music concerts, cable cars, dancing fountains, etc," she expressed, Monday (12/25).

According to her, some of the favorite locations visited by tourists were the dancing fountain at Archipelago Lake, the Cable Car, and the Bird Park Museum.  There was also a performance of the Ramayana ballet in front of the Indonesian Museum and many more.

"By paying Rp 50,000, visitors can enjoy many tourist attractions in the TMII area," she stressed.

During 12 days, from December 20 to January 2, there would be a music concert with famous guest stars coming and going every day to entertain visitors. The location was on the West Plaza stage near door 3 of TMII Keong Mas.

"Visitors can also watch and enjoy the music concerts by spending money by Rp 65,000 on normal days and Rp 80,000 on weekends," she concluded.
