248,000 Visitors Enjoy New Year Holidays in Ancol

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol has noted that as many as 248 tourists visited the Taman Impian Ancol from December 31, 2023 to January 1, 2024. It is a record for the most visitors after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Corporate Communication Ariyadi Eko Nugroho said the number of visitors over the past two days exceeded his party's estimate of 100,000 tourists.

"This number is a record after the pandemic," he said, Tuesday (1/2).

Ragunan Zoo Visitors Reach 98,221 People During New Year

On December 31, there were around 140 tourists and 138 tourists on January 1. Most of them crowded the Carnaval and Lagoon beaches as a favorite location.

To facilitate visitor mobility in the Ancol area, there were about 76 Wara Wiri shuttle buses and three Sato-Sato trains. It was free of charge.

"At the beginning of this year, we still have several events that can be enjoyed. Hopefully, all of these events will add to the spirit of 2024, thus it will be even better," he stated.
