142,000 Tourists Swarm Ancol in North Jakarta

As many as 142.000 visitors have been recorded to pack the Ancol Taman Impian area in North Jakarta. which is still a favorite tourist destination for residents. It has been seen since yesterday until this Sunday (12/24).

This series of events and promos to welcome the end of year holidays and offer a fun experience

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Corporate Communication, Ariyadi Eko Nugroho said the Ancol presented various events and promotions during the year-end holiday season. The series of activities took the theme of the Ancol Wonder Fest "Magical New Year Of Jakarta".

"This series of events and promos to welcome the end of year holidays and offer a fun experience that can provide new energy and enthusiasm in the New Year," he expressed, Monday (12/25).

He explained various events such as Dunia Fantasi holding the Upin Ipin International Show which will entertain visitors by singing, dancing, and Meet & Greet with Upin Ipin characters from December 2023 to January 31, 2024.

Then there is also the Special Grand Christmas Parade, held every weekend from 4.30 AM to 5.30 AM until January 7, 2024.

At Wahana Atlantis Water Adventure from December 23 to January 7, there will be a flyboard show with Santa, as well as competitions with attractive prizes held in the pool area and enlivened with a Water Fun Dance. Visitors will be invited to dance in the Wave Pool area with special musical performances.

Then Ocean Dream Samudra presents a special Under Water Show Santa & Mermaids special on December 23 - 31 at the Underwater Theater. There are also clown magic balloons and street magic attractions that will entertain and share funny balloon creations.

Visitors can take photos with Santa and Mermaids during the Meet & Greet event. During this year-end holiday week, Ocean Dream Samudra will also introduce a new friend, Sun Bear or Sun Bear, who can be met starting December 27.

Not only that, Sea World Ancol will present the Santa Divers event at the Main Aquarium starting December 23. The event will entertain visitors by watching a feeding show performed by professional divers in Santa Claus costumes feeding hundreds of fish and underwater tales.

Sea World will also introduce the new King Crab biota starting December 24. And for culinary fans, there will be a Food Festival from December 23 to January 7 in the Sea World area.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Bird Land will present a Special Interactive Bird Show with cute and smart birds and a special Free Flight Show "Petualangan Kawan Jaga Langit" (Adventure of Friends Guarding the Sky). Apart from that, the newest sky friend, Violet Turaco, will also be introduced starting December 24.

Meanwhile, Putri Duyung Ancol Beachfront Resort will provide a staycation experience with sea views outside the cottage for three days and two nights. Visitors can enjoy a New Year Party with the theme A Journey to Galaxy while enjoying a Gala Dinner.

"The festivities will end with a fireworks display on New Year's Eve," he added.

As for the information, the number of visitors on Saturday (12/23) was recorded at 52,000 and 90,000 on Sunday (12/24).
