North Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency handled 10,718 prone to fall trees along January to December 2023. Those trees were spread in six sub-districts in North Jakarta.

Sub-agency's Green Lane Section Head, Priharto Budi Susilo, said the handling were cutting and pruning.
"Pruning was done to anticipate tree falling especially during heavy rain. There are five categories of pruning. Those are light, medium, heavy, cutting, and prone to fall," he said, Friday (1/12).

"The handling was done by sub-district's personnel from 10 to 15 personnel. While city-level personnel handled green lane and residential," he added.
Not only pruning, the agency also planted tree for minimizing pollution and greening the area. That is why his side keeps monitoring the trees.
"We remind resident to report via JakLapor feature on JAKI application if there is prone to fall tree near the area," he stated.
Meanwhile, Ilham, resident of RW 10, Sunter Jaya Urban Village, admitted he previously reported fallen trees through the app. The response was fast.
"I appreciate the agency's work for responding my report quickly," he said.
