Six Trees Prone to Falling in Kembangan Pruned

To anticipate fallen or broken trees, as many as six trees on Jalan Makam Serang, RT 06/01, Meruya Utara Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta, pruned.

By doing so, the trees' burden is reduced, making residents feel safe and comfortable

Kembangan Sub-district Head, Joko Suparno said the types of six trees pruned were serut and petai Cina.

"It is done to follow up on residents' request to the Kembangan Sub-district Parks and City Forest Executing Unit," he expressed, Thursday (1/11).

It was carried out to prevent fallen and broken trees, moreover, lately, there has been frequent rain and strong winds.

"By doing so, the trees' burden is reduced, making residents feel safe and comfortable," he explained.

Its pruning involved seven personnel of the West Jakarta Parks and City Forest Executing Unit.

RT 06/01 Chairman, Meruya Utara Urban Village, Wawan, appreciated the quick response from officers who followed up on residents' complaints.

"Residents here will be safer after the dense and tall trees are pruned," he stated.
