Solidaritas Milenial Jakarta (SMJ) appreciated Acting Jakarta Governor Heru Budi Hartono who actively socializing safe election through motto "Smart Choice, Safe Election, Strong Indonesia".

Heru's action should be implemented by other institutions

Socialization is done through several media such as banner and sticker.

SMJ Coordinator, Hamzah Arif, assessed the success of 2024 election is part of nation's success in realizing and keeping democration.

The election must be guarded well by citizen, government or state institution. As well as what has been done by Acting Jakarta Governor Heru Budi Hartono.

"Heru's action should be implemented by other institutions in Jakarta for realizing safe, peace, and conducive election," he said, Saturday (1/13).

According to him, every public figure, government institution and officials should participate in socializing peaceful election.

"Jakarta is the control center of the election. It is a must for state institution to be actively involved socializing to the citizen," he added.

He also assessed that Jakarta Provincial Government's action together with Forkopimda is already correct. It means all stakeholder will escort the election well.

"If the stakeholder is involved, it will create qualified election," he continued.

In every election event, he stated, be aware of conflict created by irresponsible people. That is why sinergy is needed.

"Sinergy between regional government, police, army, and election organizer is needed to anticipate conflict," he closed.
