Governor Pramono Joins Cycling in Jakarta Silaturahride 2025

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, joined a bike ride with 500 members of the cycling community, Saturday (4/19). The event, packaged as Jakarta Silaturahride 2025, went from the City Hall to the Youth Monument Roundabout (Patung Pemuda) along Jalan Sudirman.

According to him, it was attended by 42 communities from various types of bikes, ranging from road bikes, vintage bikes to folding bikes.
"I am a cycling enthusiast. Today, we are going to ride in the city, specifically on Sudirman Thamrin, three times," he expressed, Saturday (4/19).
Jakarta to Make Public Transportation Free on April 24, 2025This is held considering the high number of cycling communities and enthusiasts in Jakarta. Hence, in the future, he envisions his desire to make Jakarta an international tourist destination.
Aside that, Jakarta is also open to various sports events on an international scale. For instance, the Jakarta International Marathon (Jakim), as well as a half marathon organized by LPSK and Kompas that will fall in June.
"I will participate in the Jakarta International Marathon. But, I will only join the 10-kilometer race," he explained.
Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) Chairman, Raja Sapta Oktohari, emphasized Jakarta is very fortunate to have a Governor who loves and strongly supports sports.
"Thank you Jakarta, thank you Mr. Governor. Hopefully, we can continue to collaborate and promote sports achievements from Jakarta," he said.
