Fire Guts Crane Car on Cacing Toll Road

No one was injured after fire gutted a crane car B 9854 KV on Cacing Toll Rod (Cakung-Cilincing), at KM 53,800, Cakung, East Jakarta, Friday (4/3), causing a severe traffic jam up to 5 km along Bintara towards Cilincing. It is allegedly triggered by electrical short-circuit from the car's engine.

Muslih, (38), a Cacing Toll Road officer uttered he knew the incident from the passing riders at the scene. To put out the flames, the police officers had closed the traffic for half hour. 

"When we get the report, we then immediately rushed to the scene," said Muslih, Friday (4/3).

Head of Operation Section for East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Handling Sub-Department claimed his sub-department sent 2 fire trucks to the scene and managed to put out the flames within an hour later. 

"Temporary allegation, it's triggered by electrical short-circuit," he told. 

Unfortunately, the crane driver immediately fled when his car on fire. But the police are still hunting him for questioning.
