Disaster Post Set Up in Kembangan Selatan for Flood Victim's Need

The West Jakarta Social Sub-agency has set up a post for Disaster Preparedness Social Officer at the South Kembangan Urban Village Head's official house, Jalan Kembangan Selatan RT 07/RW 01, Kembangan Sub-district.

West Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Suprapto expressed the post was set up to meet the needs of flood victims if flooding occurs during the rainy season.

According to him, it was used as a logistics warehouse and public kitchen to meet the daily needs of residents in refugee camps.

"We have 155 personnel in the post, consisting of 15 personnel from PSKB, 100 from Tagana, and 40 from BKO P3S," he expressed, Thursday (1/18).

Based on last year's experience, there are around 10 evacuation points for residents, including those spread across Cengkareng Timur, Rawabuaya, Duri Kosambi, Kamal, Kembangan Utara, and Kembangan Selatan sub-districts.

Kembangan Selatan Urban Village Head, Pradana Putra supported the use of his official house, which has an area of 400 square meters, as a PSKB Post for flood management.

Even, his party was also ready to deploy PPSU personnel to help distribute aid from the post to the refugee camps later.
