Complaint Service Post on Panggang Island Serves 320 Reports

The direct or offline complaint service at the sub-district level which has been held again by Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono is quite popular with residents in Panggang Island Sub-district, North Seribu Islands Sub-district, Seribu Islands.

Panggang Island Urban Village Head, Muhammad Fakih Burhanudin said that from January to December 2023, there were 320 residents reports submitted to the Public Complaints Post.
"Every month, we receive 82 to 93 complaints. They complained regarding facilities and infrastructure, public order, and future development on Panggang Island," he expressed, Thursday (1/18).
Commission C Visits Complaint Service Post at City HallHe explained the direct service is an alternative for residents besides the online service that is availableh via JAKI application.
"Only few are familiar with using the online system. Not surprisingly, this offline service is still quite popular," he explained.
According to him, Panggang Island Urban Village had also prepared a public consultation room. Hopefully, the existence of this post would enable the community to be more active in participating in solving the problems they experience, as well as increasing transparency and accountability in public services.
"We always have picket officers ready to help the community in conveying resident complaints, following up, and finding solutions to the problems raised," he continued.
RW 02 Chairman, Panggang Island Urban Village, Badrun admitted he had
submit a report regarding the need to handle trees that are feared to be dangerous to residents.
"I saw the condition of two guava trees which were starting to rot and become vulnerable in RT 06. Hence, I immediately reported them to the complaint post to ask them to cut them down," he explained.
He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the urban village side which responded quickly to his complaint. The need for tree felling was immediately followed up by the PPSU personnel at Panggang Island Urban Village.
"Hopefully, the post is always available, as it has an important function for residents in submitting complaints or reports. Moreover, this complaint is free of charge," he stated.
