The Seribu Islands Regency General Election Commission (KPU) held a simulation of voting and counting votes for the General Election 2024 in the courtyard of the South Seribu Islands Sub-district Office.

Seribu Islands KPU Chairperson, Iman Cahyadi said this simulation aimed to hold socialization to the public and election organizers this year at the urban village and sub-district levels regarding the procedures for voting and counting votes in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 7/2017 on General Elections and KPU Regulation Number 25/2023.
"The voting public is given an understanding of the use of four types of ballot papers, such as Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates, DPR, DPD, and DPRD," he expressed, Tuesday (1/23).

"Hopefully, the results of this simulation can be an illustration for the smooth and successful implementation of the elections on February 14 in Seribu Islands," he explained.
South Seribu Islands Sub-district Secretary, Windu Cahyaningsi added ths activity was attended by 250 participants consisting of residents registered on the Permanent Election List (DPT), Satpol PP personnel, Bawaslu, representatives of political parties participating in the Election, urban village and sub-district ASNs, as well as army (TNI)/police.
"The simulation ran smoothly and successfully. The community and officers were very enthusiastic about participating in this socialization. Hopefully, the elections in the Seribu Islands will run safely and peacefully, and all residents will exercise their right to vote," he stated.
