S. Jakarta PMI Distributes 1,900 Humanity Assistance Packages

The South Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) has distributed 1,900 humanity assistance packages for residents living in prone to flood areas during January 1-26, 2024.
First period is for 19 urban villages
South Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross Head, Abdul Haris, said those 1,900 packages were distributed to 19 priority urban villages through PMI Peduli 2024 program.

urban villages will be run gradually," he said, Saturday (1/27).According to him, each urban villages gets 100 packages consisting 3 kg of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, instant noodle, sugar, coffee, tea, sausage, ketchup, sardines, and five packs of 660 ml mineral water.
"The first batch was run well and smoothly. They are happy with this assistance," he added.
Meanwhile, Petogogan Urban Village Head, Nina Permata, admitted glad with the program run in her area.
"The assistance is very helpful since the resident activity will be disturbed during flood. The distribution is based on data," she added.
