Cilandak Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Yansori said it is an effort to prevent inundation around the location.
"We're following up on residents' aspirations regarding the need to prevent channel water from overflowing onto the road when it rains," he expressed, Monday (1/29).
Water Channel Control Tub Construction in Ciledug CompletedHe explained the work involved five personnel to build a drainage control tank in the size of 40x40 centimeters with one meter deep.
"It has been ongoing since last week and is targeted for completion. The tank will also be completed with a cover," he explained.
To maximize the capacity and smoothen water flow, personnel also dredge the mud and garbage in the drainage.
"We clean it first to facilitate monitoring and cleaning of drainages," he added.
The work received appreciation from Sudrajat (37), a local resident.
"Hopefully, it can minimize puddles when it rains heavily," he hoped.
