Joint Personnel Handle Landslide on Jalan Timbul III B

Joint personnel were deployed to handle a landslide cliff on Jalan Timbul III B, RT 08/04, Cipedak Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district, South Jakarta.

"Our temporary allegation is wet-unstable land contour," he said, Wednesday (1/31).

He added that the five meter height and three meter width cliff blocked the resident's road access along 20 meter.

"There are four families or six people living in four houses impacted by the landslide," he added.

As for the temporary handling, his side deployed five PPSU personnel, two Fire Handling and Rescue, one BPBD, and 15 Jagakarsa Sub-district's Water Resource Implementer Unit, and other personnel.

"We sterilized Setu River connecting channel from the landslide material. Heavy equipment was already requested to assist the handling," he added.

Meanwhile, Jagakarsa Sub-district's Water Resource Implementer Unit Head, Sartono, admitted one spider excavator was quickly sent to the location to free the river's connecting channel from landslide.

"I appeal the resident to remain alert and stay safe since rain will still pour," he said.

Moreover, resident of RT 08, Cipedak Urban Village, Agung, explained the landslide happened during rain at 3.10 AM.

"Together with other residents, we directly contacted urban village. The personnel conducted emergency handling at 4.40 AM," he explained.
