Health Post to Be Provided for Election Day

North Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) is about to open health post in every sub-district. It is aimed to smooth election day on February 14, 2024. The post will open for three days from February 13-15.

North Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross Head, Rijal, said the post is provided if any of PPK, PPS, and KPPS member got tired, sick and so on.

"It is important to smooth the activity during the election day," he said, Monday (2/5).

Not only health personnel, he added, volunteers will also be deployed to the post.

"There are 150 PMI volunteers to be deployed. Each sub-district post will get 10 to 20 volunteers," he added.

Moreover, three ambulance units, two hearses, four rescue unit cars, and two motorcycles will also be prepared.

"A 24 hours health clinic at our headquarter will standby. Our personnel will distribute business cards with telephone numbers for the crisis center and 24 hour post, 021-43935630 and 08988669000 or email sekretariat.pmiju@gmail.com, to the post," he stated.

Rijal said that the presence of North Jakarta PMI at this democratic party proves that PMI as a humanitarian institution is always ready to support the activities of the government, Army, Police, KPU Bawaslu or other community activities.

"We hope that all stages of this year's elections can run smoothly and be successful in making Indonesia even better," he hoped.
