Satria Biru Boat Optimizes Gulkarmat in Seribu Islands

The "Satria Biru" fireboat is ready to be operated to optimize the handling of fire and rescue (Gulkarmat) in the Seribu Islands Regency area.
This boat has a speed of up to 50 knots
North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Gulkarmat Sector VIII Head, Dede Budi said the Satria Biru boat was currently docked or alerted in the Tidung Island Urban Village area, South Seribu Islands.
"Very happy and grateful, our operational vehicles have increased by one. There were previously only two fireboats for the Sector VIII area," he expressed, Thursday (2/15).

"This boat has a speed of up to 50 knots," he explained.
As a fireboat, it also functions as a rescue ship which can be used for search and rescue in the event of a ship sinking and so on.
"Boats designed in this way have complete and sophisticated facilities, starting from life jackets, accurate tracking systems, signal lights, and many others," he explained
He added this new boat could be a strengthening of all anticipatory processes and protection against the possibility of unwanted disasters to prevent casualties or injuries.
"Of course, the addition of one ship makes the officers more enthusiastic, it can be useful for many people. We'll definitely look after it and take care of it as best as possible," he explained.
South Seribu Islands Sub-district Head, Ismail felt increasingly helped in providing public services with the operation of the Satria Biru boat.
"Surely, this boat is very useful for many people who need help or have difficulties while at sea and in the event of a fire. Even, it can also be used as an educational tool for school children, they will definitely be happy," he stated.
