22 Pedicabs in North Jakarta Netted

Due to they are still operating recklessly, as many as 22 pedicabs in North Jakarta are netted by North Jakarta Satpol PP personnel, Tuesday (4/14). Those are netted in Tanjung Priok and Koja Sub-Districts.

Head of North Jakarta Satpol PP, Iyan Sofyan Hadi stated the raid is held routinely, even though there is no complaint from local people. "We call the raid "Orderly Wednesday", but it's not always on Wednesday, it depends condition in the field," he asserted, Tuesday (4/14).

18 Nightspots in West Jakarta will Be Raided

Besides pedicabs, he added, the personnel also held raid against the people with social welfare problems (PMKS). 

"We also managed to secure beggars, bums, and street vendors. They will be netted if they violate the Bylaw, like disrupting traffic and public order," he expressed. 

The netted pedicabs then brought to Satpol PP's warehouse in Cakung, East Jakarta, to be burned.
