60 Residents in Sunter Agung Donate Blood

The North Jakarta Branch Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) is facilitating residents in Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta who want to donate blood. In the service started at 9 AM to 11 AM, as many as 60 residents were recorded as donors.

North Jakarta PMI Headquarters Head, Nur Hasanudim said the door-to-door service is important to maintain the availability of blood stocks, including, in the month of Ramadan.
"For services in RW 17, Sunter Agung Urban Village, we have deployed one team or 12 people. Hope more people will be moved to become donors," he expressed, Monday (3/4).

"This is to facilitate access for residents who want to donate blood," he explained.
It is one of the implementations of social programs to help people who need blood and to meet blood stocks in Jakarta.
"Residents are very enthusiastic, there are even residents outside our RW who became donors. Insya Allah, the same action will be held in June," he explained.
Sunter Agung Urban Village Secretary, Nani Sulistyaningsih, appreciated this noble activity to help others.
"Hope it can be a routine agenda, I support it," he hoped.
One of the RT 02/17, Sunter Agung Urban Village, Suhendri admitted he regularly participates in blood donations.
"I often attend blood donation events, apart from making the body healthier, many people need our blood," he stated.
