76 Vehicles Undergo Emission Tests in South Jakarta

Some 76 vehicles have undergone free emissions tests at the Taman Alfa Indah Housing Complex, Petukangan Utara Urban Village, Pesanggarahan Sub-district, Wednesday (3/6).
Two failed the test
South Jakarta Pollution and Environmental Damage Control Section Head, Tuti Ernawati Sapardin expressed today's emission test is a follow-up to a direct request from the housing management.
"Taman Alfa Indah Housing is a pioneer. Hopefully, the housing in South Jakarta will also follow suit and we will be ready," she expressed, Wednesday (3/6).

"Two failed the test," she explained.
By participating in the emission test, vehicle owners could monitor the carbon footprint created by their vehicles.

Therefore, in the future, the same action would be intensified in South Jakarta.
"We urge the community to work together to create Jakarta Langit Biru program (Blue Sky)," she added.
Today's emission tests received appreciation from one of the residents, Dea (34) from the Taman Alfa Indah Housing Complex.
"We no longer need to go far to undergo vehicle emissions tests. More effective and cost-effective," she stressed
