Two failed the test

South Jakarta Pollution and Environmental Damage Control Section Head, Tuti Ernawati Sapardin expressed today's emission test is a follow-up to a direct request from the housing management.

Of the 76 vehicles, 44 were petrol cars, six were diesel cars, and 26 were motorbikes.

"Two failed the test," she explained.

By participating in the emission test, vehicle owners could monitor the carbon footprint created by their vehicles.

"An important step in reducing vehicle emissions can be done by maintaining the vehicle through routine servicing," she stressed.

Therefore, in the future, the same action would be intensified in South Jakarta.

"We urge the community to work together to create Jakarta Langit Biru program (Blue Sky)," she added.

Today's emission tests received appreciation from one of the residents, Dea (34) from the Taman Alfa Indah Housing Complex.

"We no longer need to go far to undergo vehicle emissions tests. More effective and cost-effective," she stressed
