April, Sheet Pile Repairs on Jalan Tarian Raya Barat Completed

The damaged sheet pile of the Petukangan River located on Jalan Tarian Raya Barat, RT 03/11, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading Sub-district, North Jakarta is being repaired. The work progress has touched 60 percent so far.
In total, the repair reaches 80 meters long
Kelapa Gading Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force Head, Citrin Indrawati detailed, the repair was divided into three spots. The first spot reached 25 meters long, the second reached 30 meters long, and the third reached 25 meters.
"In total, the repair reaches 80 meters long. Every day, we send 10 to 12 personnel plus a heavy equipment to the location," she expressed, Monday (3/18).

"The first point is complete. Currently, personnel are still working on the second point. Hopefully, by the end of the month, we can start work on the third point," she explained.
She explained the sheet pile collapsed after being eroded by the water of the Petukangan River during heavy rain, resulting in the collapse of trees and the RW 11 office.
"This repair has been started since January 18, 2024 and it is targeted for completion in April 2024. We have difficulties by recent weather conditions in Jakarta," he explained.
The repair received appreciation from one of the security officers in RW 11, Adi (32).
"We're grateful that it has been followed up. So, residents no longer need to worry that damage to the sheet pile will impact inundation in the surrounding area," he stated.
