The Pasar Minggu Urban Village office, Pasar Minggu sub-district, South Jakarta is moving quickly to intervene for stunted toddlers.

Pasar Minggu Urban Village Head, Puji Meilita said three toddlers were diagnosed with stunting and were given health checks, and nutritious supplementary food was provided at the Belimbing RPTRA.

"We involved medicals from Pasar Minggu Health Center and local PKK cadres," she expressed, Thursday (3/21).

She explained additional food rich in protein and nutrition was provided in the form of two kilograms of chicken eggs, a 400-gram box of milk, two kilograms of fish, one chicken, 10 kilograms of rice, one can of biscuits, and a package of vegetables.

She hoped that regular attention and assistance given to toddlers with indications of stunting could help improve their growth and development and maintain their health.

"We keep working together to help residents optimally in meeting the nutritional needs of their toddlers and mothers. Thus, Pasar Minggu Urban Village can achieve the target of zero stunting," she explained.

Pasar Minggu Urban Village Health Center Head, Mona Fardiana uttered that the health examination conducted included measuring height and weight, as well as head circumference.

"We also give them vitamins. We also provide education to parents about providing good food to support the health of mothers and toddlers," she stated.
