Tambora Flat Occupants Need Clean Water Supply

The occupants of Tambora Flat on Jalan Raya Tambora, West Jakarta complained about the water condition that is not eligible to be consumed. As a result, the occupants are forced to buy water for drinking and cooking.

All facilities are good. We just lack of clean water. The water cannot be consumed for drinking and cooking because the color is yellowish

Wiwin (54), an occupant of Block D Tambora Flat uttered, the water supply can only be used for public bathing, washing, and toilet facility (MCK).

"All facilities are good. We just lack of clean water. The water cannot be consumed for drinking and cooking because the color is yellowish," complained Wiwin, Friday (4/17).

Wiwin admitted that she had complained the water problems to the Tambora Flat manager. The occupants requested the clean water supply to be improved so they do not have to spend more money to buy water.

Jakarta Flat Implementation Unit Head, Nuri Sawitri explained that Tambora Flat had equipped with piped water facilities from PAM.

"The Tambora Flat already equipped with piped water facilities, so it is not use ground water anymore," said Sawitri.
