Satpol PP Ready to Guard Jakarta during Eid

As many as 3,000 or 2/3 out of total Jakarta Satpol PP personnel will be deployed to monitor, supervise and secure residential during Eid holiday 2024.

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin, said his personnel at urban village, sub-district, city and up to province level are commit to guard Jakarta during Eid holiday.

"Together with police, army, and community, we're ready to guard for the sake of residents' safety and comfort," he said, Monday (4/8).

According to him, his personnel are not only standby at the posts, but also mobile to residential.

"We'll massively mobile to residential as well as socializing residents to turn off electricity if they are going to hometown," he added.

Satpol PP personnel, he continued, will guard persuasively during Eid praying by using traditional uniform.

"There will be surprise from Satpol PP personnel during Eid praying," he stated without mentioning further.
