There were 692,948 homecomers departed by train since March 31 to April 11, 2024 . 41,707 of them were departed two days aftee Eid or today, Thursday (4/11).

PT KAI's Jakarta Operational Area 1 Public Relation Manager, Ixfan Hendriwintoko, said today's passengers were 41,707; 17,247 were departes from Gambir Station and 24,460 were departed from Senen Station with total 75 trains.

"Tickets are remain available for homecoming season," he said.

According to him, the peak of homecoming season was on Monday (4/8) by 47,852 passengers. Mostly of them went to Surabaya, Malang, Solo, Yogyakarta, Kutoarjo, Semarang and Purwokerto.

The backflow peak, he continued, is predicted to happen on April 13 to 15, 2014. It is predicted that more than 44,000 passengers per day will arrive during those dates.
