23,537 Homecomers Departed from Kalideres Bus Terminal

There were 23,537 homecomers departed from Kalideres Bus Terminal from 7 to 2 days before Eid or April 3 to 8, 2024.

Kalideres Bus Terminal Head, Revi Zulkarnaen, said those 23,537 homecomers were departed by using 1,270 buses to several cities in Java and Sumatera.

2,248 Homecomers Departed from Grogol Bus Terminal

According to him, there were 6,511 homecomers departed by 326 buses on three days before Eid or Sunday (4/7). It was stated as the peak of traveling period.

"Compared to last year, this year's traveling peak period is 1,000 passengers higher. Favorite destinations are Central Java, Palembang and Padang," he said, Tuesday (4/9).

Revi predicted the number of passengers today was 2,000 people with several destinations such as Pandeglang, Banten, Bandung, Tasik, Tegal and Semarang.

He added that the buses used for homecoming trip have been checked fully for the sake of passengers safety.

Moreover, urine test was also conducted for bus drivers.

"Thankfully we did not find drivers positive with drugs," he stated.
