TMII Presents Pulang Kampung Festival on Idul Fitri Holidays

Enjoy various interesting events with your beloved family during the Idul Fitri holiday at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta. Yes, TMII is presenting the Pulang Kampung Festival from April 8 to 15, 2024.

Visitors who miss their hometown can visit TMII

TMII President Director, Claudia Ingkiriwang expressed that TMII visitors can enjoy various events ranging from MSME culinary bazaars to cultural and artistic attractions from various pavilions.

"Visitors who miss their hometown can visit TMII. They can also enjoy various artistic and cultural attractions, as well as typical Indonesian culinary delights," she explained, Friday (4/12).

According to her, the festival is held from 8 AM to 8 PM and 1 PM to 8 PM at Sasono Manganti. Then there is the Tirta Menari Fountain at Plaza Promenade (in front of the DI Yogyakarta Pavilion) for Monday - Thursday from 10 AM to 1 PM and Friday from 2 PM. Especially on weekends, it is held at 10 AM, 1 PM, and 4 PM.

Then the dancing fountain Tirta Renjana New Show Special Lebaran is held from 6.30 PM to 6.45 PM, while the Tirta Menari Cerita Fountain at 6.45 PM with a Drone Show.

Also, the harmony parade from 5 PM to 5.45 PM is held at Plaza Kori Agung - Plaza Promenade. Stone Jumping Show on April 8 from 4 PM to 5 PM and April 13 from 5 PM to 6 PM at the Locomotive Plaza. Then is the Reog Ponorogo performance on April 10 and 12 from 2 PM to 3 PM at Kori Agung Plaza.

Then the Kuda Lumping (horse) show on April 11 from 1 PM to 3 PM and April 15 from 2 PM to 5 PM at Kori Agung Plaza, Bambo Gila Show on April 12 at Kori Agung Plaza, Borneo Show on April 13 at Kori Agung Plaza, and Bakar Batu show on April 14 at Indonesian Children's Palace.

"Then Pantera Disco this Friday from 5 PM to 6 PM at Kori Agung Plaza," she continued.

TMII Public Relations Section Head, Novera Mayang added that the entrance ticket price is Rp 35,000 per person. Operational hours are open from 6 PM to 7 PM. While inside TMII, visitors can enjoy the UKM bazaar and culinary delights served by around 40 entrepreneurs from around TMII.

"To avoid queues at the TMII entrance gate, visitors are urged to buy tickets online at www.tamanmini.com," she stated.

To use public transportation, visitors can take the bus at the Transjakarta Bus Stop, precisely on the right at the TMII entrance. They can also try a free shuttle service from the LRT TMII Station Lobby to the TMII Tourist Information Center or vice versa.

As for the information, on the first day of Idul Fitri, the number of visitors reached 13,000. Meanwhile, on the second day or last Thursday (4/11), the number hit 22,000.
