Channel on Jalan Kramat 5 Being Normalized

The Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA) normalizes the water channel located on Jalan Kramat 5, RT 02/09, Kenari Urban Village, Senen.

It has been ongoing since April 25 and is targeted for completion on May 20

Senen Urban Village SDA Executing Unit Head, Zulfahmi Baco stated the 48-meter-long channel normalization was carried out by repairing the alignment and installing U-Ditch concrete measuring 40x120 centimeters.

"It has been ongoing since April 25 and is targeted for completion on May 20," he expressed, Monday (5/6).

He explained the channel's length that has been installed with U-Ditch concrete is currently 18 meters or around 37 percent more than the length of the entire channel.

"It involves 12 personnel," he concluded.      

The work received appreciation from a resident from RW 09, Kenari Urban Village, Rahmat. Hopefully, it could accommodate the channel's capacity maximally.

"Hopefully, this work can be completed as soon as possible, thus it can minimize inundation and flooding," he concluded.
