12 Illegal Buildings in Rawa Terate Controlled

As many as 12 illegal buildings on Jalan Raya Bekasi RT 07/01, Rawa Terate Urban Village, Cakung East Jakarta, Wednesday (5/8), were controlled by joint personnel.

Cakung Sub-district's Economy and Development Section Head, Dicot Padang, said the controlling was based on residents' report through CRM application or direct report.

"The area will be re-functioned as sidewalk and water channel," he said.
Meanwhile, Rawa Terate Urban Village Secretary, Daniel Wisnu Parulian, explained the controlling involved 100 joint personnel of urban village and sub-district Satpol PP, SDA taskforce, Bina Marga, Transportation Sub-agency, Babinsa, Bimaspol, RT/RW/LMK caretaker and FKDM.
Of the 12 illegal buildings, he explained, some were used for selling herbal medicine and liquor, service bureaus and other types of business.
"Residents are worried about these illegal buildings, because they disturb comfort," he stated.
