1,300 Food Packages Symbolically Handed Over at Bangun Daya 2 PSBI

Residents assisted by the Bangun Daya 2 Bina Insan Social Home (PSBI), Ceger, Cipayung, East Jakarta, Monday (5/13), received staple food packages from the President, Joko Widodo.

This assistance is very beneficial for people in need

As many as 1,300 food packages were symbolically handed over by Presidential Secretariat staff, Yola, to Jakarta Social Agency Head, Premi Lasari accompanied by East Jakarta Social Sub-agency (Dinsos) Acting Head, Abdul Salam, and several other related officials.

Jakarta Dinsos Head, Premi Lasari stated the food packages would also be distributed to Social Welfare Institutions (LKS) and LKS Children in 26 locations. Then to 60 Disaster Preparedness Cadet (Tagana) volunteers, as well as 150 mustahik or receipents at the Cililitan Raudhatul Azhar Foundation.

"This assistance is very beneficial for people in need," he uttered.

The activity above received appreciation from East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Acting Head, Abdul Salam.

"This is very useful for their needs," he explained.

Raudhatul Azhar Cililitan Foundation Chairman, Hudi Riyanto, also expressed his thanks because 150 of his residents received food packages from the President.

"This is of course very useful for us," he said.
