1,000 Participants Attended Early Childhood Parenting Program

West Jakarta Indonesia Association of Educators and Early Childhood Education Personnel (Himpaudi) held parenting program at MH Thamrin Room, Block B Building of West Jakarta Mayor Office, Monday (5/20).

West Jakarta TP PKK Chairwoman, who is also West Jakarta PAUD Mother, Lisniawati, welcomed the program held by West Jakarta Himpaudi by involving 1,000 parents and early childhood.

"Parenting or the science of nurturing, guiding and educating children in a good and correct way, has become the task of a family in building and forming a healthy personality and mentality for children," she said.

Lisniawati asked parents who took part in the activity to follow it well by listening to what the resource person said and then applying it to their children at home.

Meanwhile, West Jakarta Himpaudi Chairwoman, Elitia, stated the program was divided into two session; 9 AM to 12 PM participated by 500 people, and second session at 1 PM to 4 PM participated by 500 people.

The event also invited a psychologist speaker, Nyi Mas Diane. She spoke about how to educate children with love.

"With this activity, it is hoped that mothers will know and understand more about how to educate early childhood children properly and correctly in order to create the next generation with good morals and quality," she admitted.
