She continued that her side will prepare an animal health certificate (SKKH) if the animal being examined is in healthy condition. Apart from that, the sellers will also ask for SKKH from the area of origin of the sacrificial animal.
Meanwhile, East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar, stated inspection of sacrificial animals must be carried out every day so that they are evenly distributed. His party also promised to go directly to the field to check the sacrificial animals.
"We have to make sure that cattle entering East Jakarta are in healthy condition," he stated.
Anwar appealed residents to report if there is a sick or suspicious sacrificial animal sold at the shelters.
"I also ask the traders not to use sidewalk, park, other public facilities for selling the cattle," he closed.
