The water channel dredging located on Jalan Kebon Kacang 11, RW 02, Kebon Kacang Urban Village, Tanah Abang that has been ongoing since April 25, 2024, is targeted for completion next week.

Tanah Abang Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Eli Menawan Sari stated the dredging involved four personnel of PPSU. The channel has a width of 60 centimeters with a height of 80 centimeters.

The dredging above received appreciation from one of the residents from RW 02, Kebon Kacang Urban Village, Arief.
He asserted residents were worried that if this channel was not dredged immediately, the mud deposits would get thicker and block the flow of water.
"If it's full of mud, it's prone to causing flooding when it rains. Hopefully, it can be finished soon," he hoped.
