Seribu Islands Abnon Roadshow Enlivens Car Free Day in C. Jakarta

The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) together with the Seribu Islands Abang None (Abnon) Association, Sunday (5/26), held a road show for the Abnon 2024 election on Car Free Day (CFD) along Jalan Sudirman to Thamrin, Central Jakarta. It was enlivened with Ondel-ondel parades and talent shows.

Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency Head, Sonti Pangaribuan said this roadshow is to encourage the public to participate and take part in the Abnon election event, Seribu Islands.

"Today, together with dozens of Seribu Islands Abnons, we held an Ondel-ondel parade and various actions shown by Abnons, such as freestyle basketball, stilts, nandak dance, and rollerblading," she expressed.

His party also opened a registration booth for Abnon 2024.

"To attract visitors to this booth, we provide health check services and entertainment games such as Seribu Quiz and Nandak Challenge. The public also looked enthusiastic," he explained.

As for the information, abnon registration is open from May 1 to 31, 2024. Abnon candidates can fill out the registration form listed in the Abnonseribu Instagram account biodata written https://abnon-disparekraf.jakarta.go.id.

"Hopefully, this roadshow can attract the enthusiasm of the public. We also promote the Seribu Islands tourist destination, which is no less beautiful than other big cities," he hoped.

One of the Seribu Islands Abang, Rio Martino Sebastian added that previously, roadshows had also been held at several universities (campuses) and shopping places (malls). In the event, he and other Abnons informed about registration, knowledge of Jakarta Abnon and promoted Seribu Islands tourism.

"Our booth was quite busy. Hopefully, the Abnon 2024 candidates will have broad insight into the history of Jakarta and high levels of creativity," he concluded.
