Kasmidi's House Renovated by West Jakarta Baznas Bazis

The dream of Kasmidi (62) and his wife Rukmini (57), residents of Jalan Haji Briti, Gang Dahlia II, RT 04/09, Kembangan Selatan Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta, to get better livable house is finally accomplished. Kembangan Sub-district Head Suparno, handed over the key house to him, Monday (5/27).

"Thanks to Baznas Bazis and West Jakarta Administration for renovating my house to be better," Kasmidi said.

Kasmidi added before being renovated, the roof of the house had many leaks. Not only that, the wood of the ceiling, windows and doors of the house also suffered a lot of rot.

Sukardi's House Renovation Completed

"House renovation is fully completed now. My wife, children and I can stay at home calmly, healthy and safe," Kasmidi added.

Kembangan Sub-district Head, Joko Suparno, explained Kasmidi's house was renovated by West Jakarta Baznas-Bazis program by spending Rp 55 million. House renovation took two weeks by involving PPSU personnel. The renovation made include building a new house by installing ceramics, making a bathroom, and increasing air ventilation. 

"Now Kasmidi and his family are able to enjoy their better house," he said.
