West Jakarta Administration is holding a communal work to minimize waste from Angke River in West Jakarta. It is involving 750 joint personnel comprised of Satpol PP, Army, Police, Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), Cleanliness Sub-Department, Mass Organization, Fire and Rescue Handling Sub-Department, Disaster Response Team (Tagana), Wednesday (4/22).
The communal work is a form of Tagana's social care to the local people. By so, the residential will be free from flood during rainy season
Using rubber boat, the personel began to clean the river as long as 1.5 kilometers, starting from North Kembangan Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-District until Drain Cengkareng, Rawabuaya Urban Village.
