Tiga Jembatan di Kali Angke Dibongkar Pemkot Jakbar

Occupied by PKL, 3 Bridges Stood on Angke River Torn Down

West Jakarta Water Management Public Works Sub-Department tore down 3 bridges standing on Angke River, Jelambar Baru, Grogol Petamburan, Wednesday (1/14). The demolishment is done because the bridges have impeded water flow and is often occupied by street vendors (PKL).

The bridges are always inundated and cause a trash pile. Thus it has an impact on water that cannot flow and then overflow into Jalan Tubagus Angke when rain pours

Every bridge has a size of 12x5 square meters, where its position is lower than road.

"The bridges are always inundated and cause a trash pile. Thus it has an impact on water that cannot flow and then overflow into Jalan Tubagus Angke when rain pours," said Head of West Jakarta Water Management Public Works Sub-Department, Santo, Wednesday (1/14).
