Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo said the launch of the Amari trial is an effort to provide effective and efficient transportation services at night for free. It is also to deal with changes in Jakarta's status as the nation's capital to become a global business and trade city.

"This is to fill the gap in services that the community needs, especially those who are active at night. Because the nighttime activity of Jakarta residents is so high," he expressed, Saturday (6/1).

According to him, it will operate from 10 PM to 5 AM. It will undergo trial for three months and then continue with evaluation.

"During the trial, it is targeted to carry the passenger up to five percent. If the number exceeds the target, there will be additional fleets," he explained.
