76 SMEs Enliven Jakarta's 497th Anniversary Bazaar in Cibubur

As many as 76 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), enlivened the bazaar in the courtyard of the Cibubur Urban Village office, Ciracas, East Jakarta. Activities to welcome Jakarta's 497th anniversary took place from Saturday (6/8) yesterday to Sunday (6/9) today.

The participants are very enthusiastic

This activity, which was initiated by Cibubur PPSU together with CSR, was also filled with orphan donations and art performances.

Cibubur Urban Village Economy and Development Section Head, Heru Kristianto said that in this activity, which was packaged under the title 'Gebyar Bazar Oren's Cibubur', the SMEs offered various food and beverage products, processed food, as well as handicraft and clothing products.

"The aim and objective of this activity is to introduce the products made by business actors to the residents of Cibubur and its surroundings," he expressed.

Event Committee Chairman, Ilyas Rifai explained that through this bazaar, his party wanted to teach honesty, creativity, cooperation, responsibility and never giving up on entrepreneurship.

Besides marketing SME products, it was also an opportunity to implement the economic and entrepreneurship knowledge gained from the training.

"The participants are very enthusiastic because the bazaar is crowded with residents of Cibubur and surrounding areas," he explained.

One of the SMEs who sell fresh drinks, Maulita Kartika (38), admitted that last day, her turnover reached Rp 2.1 million. She hoped, today her turnover would be even higher.

"Thank God, I can join in sales and the turnover is decent. I can save it. Hopefully, the same activity can become a routine agenda because it helps our economy," hoped this mother of two children.
