East Jakarta Social Sub-agency disbursed assistances for fire survivors on Jalan Manunggal Raya RT 09/08, Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas, Monday (6/24). As reported earlier, fire burned a two-story house used as motorcycle on Sunday (6/23).

Acting East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Abdul Salam, said there were seven kinds of food and beverage and 15 kinds of clothing disbursed to the survivors.

The sub-agency disbursed two sacks of five kilogram rice, two boxes of instant noodle, four packs of biscuit, six cans of sardines, two packs of ketchup, two packs of cooking oil, and two boxes mineral water.

"The assistances were given based on request from urban village," he said.

Other assistances disbursed were six pieces of woman underwear, six pieces of man underwear, six pieces of bra, two pieces of mukena, six packs of sanitary napkin, four adult blankets, six pieces of soap, two pieces of sarong.

Next were two matrasses, two foam matrasses, one elementary school uniform, one junior high school uniform, one senior high school uniform, three school bags, and three school shoes.

Meanwhile, Acting Kelapa Dua Wetan Urban Village Head, Akhmad Bakri, stated his side directly requested assistance to the sub-agency right after the incident happened.

"Thanks to East Jakarta Social Sub-agency for disbursing the assistance. Hopefully it will lighten the survivors burden," he admitted.
