Hundreds of PKK cadre from 10 sub-districts in South Jakarta participate reproduction health socialization at local mayor office.

South Jakarta TP PKK Chairwoman, Essie Feransie Munjirin, said socialization was carried out in order to strengthen the Healthy Family Movement for Disaster Response and Resilience (GKSTTB) program for PKK cadres.

"This is our routine agenda held every year," Essie said, Tuesday (6/25).

Essie stated that reproductive health is very important for teenagers or couples of childbearing age. For this reason, every teenager or couple of childbearing age needs to receive this socialization and counseling so that they can create reproductive health in family and married life.

"It is hoped that the cadres can again socialize or apply what the resource person conveyed to teenagers of childbearing age in the surrounding environment," she stated.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta City Secretary's Community Welfare Division Head, Khabib Asyari, expressed his deepest gratitude for the hard work of TP PKK which has so far helped so much with South Jakarta City Government programs such as education, outreach, training and so on for residents.

"Today's health socialization is very important, because in the future it will affect the health of women and even the children who are born in the future will also remain healthy and not have any diseases or deficiencies," he stated.
