The Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA) is normalizing channels that have experienced damage on Jalan Kampung Bali XX, RT 03/07, Kampung Bali Urban Village, Tanah Abang.
Every day, we deploy 10 personnel for this work
It has been ongoing since Monday (6/24) and ia targeted to be completed in mid-July 2024.
March, Channel Normalization on Jalan Kramat Kwitang DoneTanah Abang Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Eli Menawan Sari said the normalization was done, because the channel was badly damaged and collapsed and blocked the water flow.
"That's why, we reshaped the alignment and installed a concrete U-ditch," he expressed, Wednesday (6/26).
The normalization conducted included replacing the channel material which previously used new construction with a U-ditch measuring 60x60 centimeters.
"Every day, we deploy 10 personnel for this work. The target is to complete it in three weeks or by mid-July," he asserted.
The work received appeciation from one of the residents in RW 07 Kampung Bali. He hoped, it could accommodate water optimally.
"If we use U-ditch, it will last longer. Hope it can be completed quickly," he stated.
