Hence, she urged all Jakarta PMI people to carry out digital transformation at all levels.
"I entrust that all forms of information and activities can target all targets, namely established and middle groups (young people) to increase awareness among residents by conducting social movements with Jakarta PMI," she explained.
She also asked every sub-district in Jakarta to have a fleet of PMI ambulances to help make operations faster.
"I also believe that PMI is able to make cooperative partners with several countries abroad to support humanitarian activities. We appreciate all parties who have made the PMI funding month 2023 a success," she explained.
Jakarta PMI Chairman, Rustam Efendi explained his party continues to be present at every community activity, including disasters, floods, fires and providing assistance to victims during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The budget collected through the PMI Funding Month activities is used to finance various humanitarian activities," he said.
He added around 10 percent of the total funds collected during the PMI Funding Month 2023 activities were allocated for Jakarta PMI operations. Meanwhile, the rest were used to finance PMI activities at the city/district level.
"We're committed to moving quickly to serve residents who need humanitarian assistance," he stated.
