15 Yellow Tabebuia Trees Planted on Jalan Ahmad Yani

As many as 15 yellow tabebuia trees were planted on green belt of Jalan Ahmad Yani, Kayu Putih, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, Friday (6/28).

The planting was led by Jakarta City Park and Forestry Agency Secretary, Rudy Syahrul, accompanied by East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin.
125 Productive Trees Planted on Sentiong RiverbankDjauhar said that these 15 yellow tabebuia were chosen to add beauty and exotic color to the green belt area on the edge of the Phb IKIP Channel. Hundreds of various types of ornamental plants have also been planted. Those were Prety Pink, Kana, Bakung, Rumput Gajah and Ketapang Kencana.
"In total there are 15 Yellow Tabebuia trees that we planted here. The condition needs to be greened with a number of trees," he said.
According to him, by planting trees, it is hoped that the environment will be green, cool and the city will be beautiful. Moreover, the location is on the side of a protocol road which is always crossed by many motorized vehicles.
Jakarta City Park and Forestry Agency Secretary, Rudy Syahrul, explained the tree planting point today is one of the prime areas for the Acting Jakarta Governor. It is also supporting the achievement of the target of planting 10 thousand trees in 2024.
"We will speed up tree planting throughout the Jakarta area to achieve the planting of 10 thousand trees," he stated.
According to him, his party planted 268 thousand protective trees of various types, and 300 thousand ornamental plants last year.
"We hope that this year, at least the same number can be planted, both shade trees and ornamental plants," he said.
