Many street Lights (PJU) that spread in South Jakarta are hindered by tree foliage. In accordance with beritajakarta.com's data, these street lights are located alongside Jalan Dharmawangsa, Jalan Brawijaya, Jalan Sinabung, and Jalan Lauser.

"Indeed, some street lights are hindered by trees, and it's still being handled," told South Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-Department Head, Hasmi Chalid, Tuesday (4/28).

Chalid disclosed, tree pruning on the roadside is the responsibility of the Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department. To accelerate and optimize service, the street light officers will be equipped with chainsaw.

"We do this to accelerate and optimize the service. As planned, we will purchase small-sized chainsaw machines this year," he explained. 

He uttered, as many as 5 small chainsaw machines will be purchased this year. "Although it does not meet the need of the team, but the machine can be used alternately," he uttered.
