West Jakarta Mayor, Uus Kuswanto officially launched Polio National Immunization Week for West Jakarta at TK Tunas Muda IKKT, Jalan Jalan RT 08/02, Palmerah Urban Village, Palmerah Sub-district, Tuesday (7/23).
The program targets children aged 0-7 years
Uus appealed all parties to support and succeed the program.

Polio National Immunization Week in Central Jakarta Targets 65,000 ChildrenWest Jakarta Health Sub-agency, Erizon Safari, stated the program will be held in two rounds. First round is on July 23, 2024 until a week ahead, added two weeks for sweeping and continued to second round.
"The program targets children aged 0-7 years. Each children gets two drops of vaccine," he stated.
Erizon added the program in West Jakarta targets 285,000 children. The immunization is held at hospital, community health center, school, mal, and integrated health post.
"It is hoped the program will prevent polio to children," he stated.
