West Jakarta Water Resource Sub-agency has completed the construction of water channel on Jalan Menceng Raya, Gang Melati, RT 03/11, Tegal Alur Urban Village, Kalideres Sub-district.
The channel is also covered for safety
Kalideres Sub-district's Water Resource Implementer Unit Head, Zulkarnaen, said it is hoped the newly constructed water channel will smooth the water flow from channel on Jalan Menceng Raya to Semongol River. So it will prevent inundation for sure.
"The construction was run according to the target, that is two months. Now is already completed since a week ago," he said, Wednesday (7/24).

"The channel is also covered for safety," he added.
Meanwhile, Syukur Abdullah, one of local residents, appreciated the channel construction.
"Thanks for constructing water channel here. It is important to flow the water to prevent inundation during heavy rain," he admitted.
