Jakarta Acting Governor, Budi Hartono, inaugurated 71 state civil apparatus (ASN) consisting of Echelon II, III, and IV officials, at the Balai Agung Great Hall, City Hall, Central Jakarta, Monday (7/29).

I want all of you to understand your duties

Those served as primary high leaders, administrators, supervisors, and subgroup chairs within the Jakarta Provincial Government.

The Acting Governor asserted they must understand the duties, main tasks, and functions. Thus, it would further improve the efficiency of ASN performance and the quality of bureaucracy within the Jakarta Government.

"I want all of you to understand your duties to run all the tasks and responsibilities that are mandated well. When asked to be accountable, they can explain all the existing work programs well,"  he asserted, as quoted by the Jakarta Government's press release.

With good duty understanding, they could work seriously and there would be no overlap, thus it was in line with the Jakarta Government's goal of providing optimal public services. Thus, the residents could feel the results.

Not only that, those who were newly inaugurated were also expected to be able to work together to realize Jakarta as a global city.

"By continuing to work to maintain credibility, integrity, and professionalism, it is hoped that the development of Jakarta as a global city can continue to be implemented sustainably in the future," he added.

He added they would undergo evaluation to make them work as well as possible in serving the public.

As for the information, there are officials appointed today: three Echelon II officials; 17 Echelon III officials; 38 Echelon IV officials; and 13 13 Subgroup chairperson officials. They will work in the Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Agency; Health Agency; Regional Revenue Agency; Inspectorate; Regional Financial Management Agency; Regional Development Planning Agency; and Jakarta Industry, Trader, Cooperation, Small and Medium Enterprises Agency.
