City Secretary Inducts 61 Officials of Echelon III, IV and Functional

City Secretary, Joko Agus Setyono, inaugurated and took the oath of 61 administrators and supervisory officials under the Jakarta Provincial Government.

Those officials inducted were nine echelon III officials, 41 echelon IV officials, and 11 functional officials in the Jakarta Education Agency, Health Agency Central administration, East Jakarta administration and North Jakarta administration.

In his direction, this inauguration is a form of recognition of the dedication, competence and service that has been given in carrying out previous duties.

The implementation of rotation, transfer or promotion is a dynamic within the organization. Hopefully, this new mandate could be conducted with enthusiasm to bring about positive changes for the Jakarta Government environment.

"This is a form of effort to maximize potential, spur innovation and provide opportunities for new leaders to bring new enthusiasm to carrying out their duties," he expressed, during the inauguration, Tuesday (2/20).

He urged them to understand and remember well the duties and functions that were their respective responsibilities.

"Do your duties and work functions in accordance with the authority given and do not exceed limits. Continue to improve competence and maintain a professional attitude at work," he asserted.

According to him, Jakarta is currently being transformed into a Special Region of Jakarta which functions as the center of the national economy and a global scale business city. Every official must be able to take advantage of this moment to improve Jakarta by understanding and implementing the Global City concept.

"My message is, be a leader who is able to build a solid work team, work as a unit, and create a conducive work atmosphere to make Jakarta a Global City," he stated.
