1,896 Job Vacancies Prepared at Jakarta Job Fair

Central Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy holds job fair at Gajah Mada Plaza, Petojo Utara Urban Village, Gambir. This second year job fair is participated by 40 companies and it prepares 1,898 job vacancies.

It's big chance for jobseeker to find a job

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma, said this event should give big impact for community economy since it will reduce unemployment.

"This job fair facilitates job seekers and users, according to their competencies and needs," he said, Wednesday (7/31).

Dhany hopes this event could be held again in the future by involving private parties by preparing many job vacancies to reduce unemployment.

"It's big chance for jobseeker to find a job," Dhani added.

Meanwhile, Acting Central Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-agency Head, Noviar Dinaryanti, explained those 40 companies involved have various core businesses, such as retail, logistics, hospitality, pharmaceuticals, finance, automotive, hospitality and insurance.

"The event is held up to Thursday (8/1)," she explained.

His party is targeting 1,500 visitors per day. Not only private companies, there are also Central Jakarta BP2MI and PPKD booth, as well as MSEs.

"Hopefully this job fair is attended by 3,000 jobseekers," she hoped.
